Little Rock School District’s initial 2013-14 school year enrollment period is January 28 – February 8, 2013.

To enroll with the Little Rock School District (LRSD), you should bring your child's birth certificate, proof of your LRSD address and the child's social security number to the LRSD Student Registration Office, 501 Sherman, Little Rock.

Right before the start of the enrollment period, Little Rock School District will have the necessary forms on their website.  You may obtain the Optional Enrollment Request Form (OERF) on line and complete it after it is printed.  If the student is new to the district, a Pupil Information Form is necessary as well.  The form(s) will need to be returned to the Student Registration Office in order to complete the application process.

For Majority-to-Minority (M-to-M) transfers, you may contact the Magnet Review Committee Office for an application form.  The Magnet Review Committee will be happy to mail the application to your home or Office.  The M-to-M Transfer form will then need to be returned to the Little Rock School District Registration Office after completion.  This form is also available at the Little Rock School District Student Registration Office.

The names of the students and school choices from all applications received are placed in the computer after the initial application period. The computer internally matches students who applied with the seats available for placement. These students are assigned to the magnet school they selected.

The computer then numerically orders the names of students who have applied for magnet status, and who were not selected initially, for their placement on the waiting list.

Students are notified by letter of their magnet school placement in early March.

Go to your child's assigned magnet school during the summer registration period (usually early August) and complete the necessary steps for enrollment.
