For magnet school enrollment for the 2007-2008 school year, beginning January 28, 2008, you may go to the North Little Rock School District Desegregation Office and complete an application. (You will need to provide proof of your address at this time.)

Contact the Magnet Review Committee Office (501.758.0156) to have an application mailed to your home or office, or go to the North Little Rock School District Desegregation Office to obtain an application.

The last day to apply during the initial application period is February 8, 2008. The names of the students and school choices from all applications received are placed in the computer after this initial application period. The computer will match students who have applied with seats available for placement. The seats are filled through this process, and students who are not selected for a seat will be numerically placed on a waiting list through the computer in the same manner.

The North Little Rock School District will notify you by letter of your magnet school placement.

After receiving your placement notification letter, you will need to go to the Little Rock School District's Student Assignment Office and complete a Pupil Information Form.

Go to your child's assigned magnet school during the summer registration period (in early August) and complete the necessary steps for enrollment.
